Vitens supplies drinking water to 5.8 million customers in the provinces of Flevoland, Friesland, Gelderland, Utrecht and Overijssel and several municipalities in Drenthe and North Holland. The primary task of Vitens is to supply high-quality, affordable drinking water to everyone in its service area – twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week. As a resident, you want to be able to rely on Vitens’ services. Reliability is therefore of paramount importance at Vitens and this was the reason to replace the outdated firewall in a timely and professional manner, while at the same time increasing the security level. This allows residents to continue to use high-quality drinking water 24/7.
