Whey is a residual of cheese preparation that still contains several high-end substances that can be utilised. DVNutrition (DVN) uses whey as a raw material for the production of high-end egg whites in a powdered form. These egg whites are used in the food and pharmaceutical industry. After extracting the whey, permeate remains, which is also processed into a powder. This powder is mainly used in the animal food industry. DVN wanted to produce more egg whites without having to make significant investments in their production process. This is a challenge we were happy to take on.
