During her study Internaional Management Dierick realized she was interested in the field of consultancy. She started her journey as a student consultant at SOLVE Consulting Utrecht, where here interest in two projects confirmed to herself she made the right choice. During her study she also learned how important it is to manage involved stakeholders and map business processes. Annabelle says: ”I gain energy from advising organizations when I see that it enables them to achieve the best possible. Often you can do so much more than you expect beforehand. By building bridges between people changes start to happen. I am really excited for this new challenge and am looking forward to development myself.”
The trainee program within Axians and Bostec (both brans of VINCI Energies) offers beginning professionals the possibility to perform consultancy- and project management assignments at various clients. A medior or senior colleague consultant takes care of ‘on-the-job learning’ during the project and teaches the trainee what being a consultant is all about. The program furthermore focuses on personal development through an interactive training approach. That is how beginning consultants receive training on for example communication, customer focus, collaborating, result focus, quality focus and others.
